When time is short and you need a coffee to-go, Shop & Go offers a smart, autonomous solution. Ideal for a little treat between meals – without having to wait. Here, customers can simply serve themselves – choosing from a selection of speciality coffees, cold drinks and snacks.

And the great thing about Shop & Go? The selection of products can be put together individually – depending on the location and target group. For example, workplaces can offer healthy snacks like mixed nuts or fruit.

The aim is to take care of local needs as well as possible – providing a place where customers can serve themselves around the clock. Everything works “by itself” – without personnel and additional costs. As a rule, the solution accepts contactless and cashless payments. Thanks to each vending machine’s housing and – if required – the individual design of the entire vending station, Shop & Go looks visually appealing, too.

More and more people are looking beyond the rims of their cups and asking questions like: Where does my coffee come from and how is it cultivated? What are the living conditions like for the local farmers and their families? Increasingly, people want to enjoy the pleasures of coffee with a good conscience. And that is leading to growing demand for sustainable coffee outside of the home, too. Our answer? Via Verde.
Those who prefer teas with an organic seal will find just what they’re looking for in our tea range. More than half of our tea-pyramid varieties come from certified organic farms.

Bio (organic) and Fairtrade

For decades, our focus when buying green coffee has been on quality – which also allows farmers to generate higher revenues. Most of this coffee comes from smallholders who still manage their plantations in harmony with nature. We are also purchasing an increasing amount of green coffee from sustainable sources – such as the coffee for Via Verde. This range is designed specifically for professional use and covers the entire coffee spectrum: roasted coffee, espresso and café crème – available with the Fairtrade label or as part of our “Organic” range, which bears both the Bio (organic) and Fairtrade seals.

We source our products responsibly, and our business relationships are based on long-standing and trusted partnerships. Higher revenues for the coffee farmers

As one of the largest importers of washed arabica beans from Ethiopia, we visit the country regularly to see things first-hand – not only in relation to coffee, but also to see how our project work is progressing. In addition to Ethiopia, we source coffee from more than 20 countries – mostly hand-picked arabica beans from highland regions. Arabica coffee is more challenging to cultivate than robusta and is more sophisticated in flavour. Arabicas are usually far more expensive, too – leading to higher revenues for the coffee farmers.

The story of CUPTIME coffee begins in Ethiopia: in the early 1960s, Konrad Werner Wille – the founding father of today’s coffee business – travelled to Ethiopia in search of special green coffees. In the original home of coffee, the “coffee pioneer” discovered coffee beans of extraordinary quality – beans that continue to define the flavour of our coffee varieties today.
